The Takbok 4x4 trail is situated between Paarl
and Franschoek..
The trail starts off with a bit of an obstacle
course to get one into tune with the day's driving. There are then two
sections of the trail. The first beng a mountain section tha has two
potentially very dangerous descents. The first one is 35%, and I found
this one more dangerous than the second, which is 45%.
The second section of the trail is sand, which
is a very easy drive. I rated the trail as moderate, but with the
nmber of really nice trails around the western cape, I don't think
that I will visit this one again.
