We spent Sunday 1 June 2003 out on the Elgin
Apple trail near Grabouw.
The scenery is awesome and it was fairly muddy
after a lot of recent rain and needless to say I managed to get myself
pretty stuck. The trail has a couple of nice challenging bits to it to
keep it exciting. One great pity however, is the fact that the farmer
has not trimmed back the trees around the road sufficiently, and
branches could quite easily cause some nasty damage to a vehicle if
one is not careful. I did not manage to get many photos, but here are
a couple that I took.
