We went out for a day trip on 28 December 2002
to the Perdeberg 4X4 route which is situated between Durbanville and
Malmesbury. The trail consists of a 15km mountain section which is is
an easy scenic route up to spectacular 360°
views from the top with the exception of a 4X4X4 section over a very
big rock. The second portion of the trail is a 15km sand route which
is more difficult and there are some very interesting obstacles that
will test your driving skills. A very worthwhile day outing close to
Cape Town that I would recommend highly. Here are a couple of photos
