I really love dune driving, and when the opportunity arose to go and drive The Dunes trail just outside Lamberts Bay we couldn't resist..

Atlantis Dunes, as I have said is one of my favourite places. The Dunes at Lamberts Bay are very different and a lot more powdery. All in all a very pleasant day's driving, and the closer we got to midday the softer the sand became, and the more the trucks dug in. To leave the dunes there is also a very interesting challenge toget over thre steep dunes in a row.

Camping facilities are very basic.
