I paid a visit to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia during November 2003.

I found the heat and humidity very intense, but the city was definately not what I had expected at all. The daily drenching with the torrential rainstorms was also unexected. These storms only serve to make the humidity more intense.

I found it incredibly clean and the buildings far taller and more modern than what I had expected to find.

The Malaysian people are also incredibly friendly and helpful.

The Petronas Twin Towers need to be seen to get an idea of how tall they really are, and at night they look as if they belong in a science fiction movie..

Here are a couple of photographs that I took whilst on my trip there. Most of them are of the Petronas Towers, as it is really the key feature of the city.
